This is a multi-site clinical trial. At present, enrollment is open to patients at Columbia University Medical Center. Other sites will be recruiting in the future.
In-person visits will be conducted at your medical center. The remote visits will be conducted virtually.

There may be risks related to answering web-based questionnaires, utilizing gluten detection technology, giving blood, endoscopy, and loss of confidentiality. You will learn more about these potential risks during the screening and informed consent process.

There is a possibility that your participation could help us understand how gluten detection technology could be used in the treatment of celiac disease. This could help people who are diagnosed with celiac disease in the future.

Yes. Details about compensation will be provided upon enrollment, before you decide whether to participate.

We plan to enroll 200 individuals with newly diagnosed celiac disease across four recruitment centers over the course of this study.

Each participant will be in the study for 12 months. This includes the initial visit (visit 1), remote follow-up visits (visits 2, 3, and 4), and the end-of-study visit (visit 5).
